FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne TinCaps will take on the Cincinnati Reds-affiliated Dayton Dragons in the Midwest League's Eastern Division Championship Series. While the TinCaps swept their 1st Round Series against the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 2-0, the Dragons advanced past the West Michigan Whitecaps with an 11-inning, 4-3 victory on Friday night to take their series, 2-1. All games will air on ESPN Radio 1380 and 100.9 FM, as well as atTinCapsRadio.com and via TuneIn. Saturday's game will be broadcast on TV around Indiana on Comcast Network 81, while Sunday's (and, if necessary, Monday's) game will have streaming video on MiLB.tv.
The Cedar Rapids Kernels (Minnesota Twins) and Quad Cities River Bandits (Houston Astros) are meeting in the Western Division Championship Series.
If the TinCaps advance to the Midwest League Championship Series against Cedar Rapids or Quad Cities, Fort Wayne would host Game 1 on Wednesday, Sept. 13 (7:05 p.m.) and Game 2 on Thursday, Sept. 14 (7:05 p.m.). Game 3 will be in Cedar Rapids/Quad Cities, as will Games 4 and 5, if necessary.
