TinCaps Announce OPENING DAY PLUS

Fort Wayne, IN - The Fort Wayne TinCaps are proud to announce an unprecedented offer, the OPENING DAY PLUS promotion, for the beginning of the 2014 season, the team's sixth at Parkview Field. This brand new promotion, which gives fans great value on food, beverage, and seats to a game, will be available beginning Thursday, January 30^th at 11 a.m. - when individual tickets for the 2014 are first available for sale.

Any fan who purchases individual game tickets for both Opening Day AND any TinCaps home game prior to May 14^th will receive a voucher for a free hot dog and 20 ounce soft drink, a $5.50 value, for each ticket purchased for those additional games after Opening Day.

 "TinCaps fans are an incredibly loyal and passionate group, and we wanted to thank them for their continued support of TinCaps baseball," said TinCaps President Mike Nutter. "The fans that open the season with us on Thursday, April 3^rd will have the chance to visit Parkview Field again, through May 14^th, and be treated to a hot dog and soft drink from the team. This is just the first of many BIG FUN promotions we have planned for the 2014 season."

This OPENING DAY PLUS promotion will be available for a limited time only, starting Thursday, January 30^th and continuing through Friday, February 28^th. The offer is valid with the full price purchase of any individual ticket type (lawn, reserved, all-star, home run porch, or legacy). This ticket promotion is not valid with any other discount or offer, including tickets purchased through season ticket packages. Promotion is not currently available for online ticket purchases. Promotion is valid at the Parkview Field Ticket Office or by calling (260) 482-6400.

Here is an example of how the promotion works:

John Smith purchases four tickets for Opening Day, April 3^rd. With each additional ticket he purchases for any of the TinCaps home games through May 14^th, he will receive a voucher for a hot dog and a 20 ounce soft drink - a $5.50 value per voucher. If he purchases two tickets for April 5^th and six tickets for May 14^th, he would receive eight vouchers to accompany those eight total tickets purchased.

April 3 - Four tickets

April 5 - Two tickets + Two food vouchers

May 14 - Six tickets + Six food vouchers

The TinCaps open their sixth season of BIG FUN at Parkview Field on Thursday, April 3^rd, against the Great Lakes Loons. The game will be a Thirsty Thursday with $1.00 beer specials and feature post-game fireworks, one of 30 such shows during the 2014 season.
