Tortugas Rained Out Wednesday

Doubleheader scheduled for Thursday

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL - The Daytona Tortugas were rained out Wednesday night in St. Lucie at First Data Field, due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday.

Thursday's doubleheader will begin at 4 PM. The two games will be seven innings in length and will be separated by a 30 minute intermission. Daytona's last two games in St. Lucie have been postponed due to rain. Thursday will be the second doubleheader of the season between these two teams.

RHP Vladimir Gutierrez (5-7, 4.85) and RHP Jake Paulson (3-3, 4.64) will be the starting pitchers for Daytona. Nine of Daytona's 10 rain outs have been on the road. Wednesday will serve as a faux off day for Daytona, their second in a 36 day stretch.

Both games will be broadcasted on AM 1230 and AM 1490. Coverage will begin with The Metcare Pregame Show at 3:50 PM.
