DAYTONA BEACH, FL - After a weekend getaway to Dunedin, the Tortugas will return home for a seven game homestand that commences on Independence Day. It's the first time since 2013 that the Tortugas will play at home on July 4th. The holiday game kicks off a weeklong homestand with many great promotions, including a pair of fireworks shows.
Tuesday, July 4th - Independence Day Extravaganza - 6:35 PM first pitch vs. Clearwater
The Tortugas return home just in time to celebrate the holiday with Tuga Nation! The Tortugas will be wearing special patriotic themed hats and jerseys, with the latter being auctioned off for charity. The night begins with a pregame carnival when the gates open at 5 PM, presented by WAWA. Included in the carnival will be the chance to dunk Tortugas manager Eli Marrero in the dunk tank from 5 PM - 6 PM, with proceeds benefiting The Tortugas Care Charity Foundation. The night concludes with biggest fireworks show of the year.
Wednesday, July 5th - Wins-Day & Weenie Wednesday - 7:05 PM first pitch vs. Clearwater
The Tortugas guarantee a win! If Daytona doesn't happen to win this game, everyone in attendance will receive a free ticket to a future home game. Plus, enjoy $1 hot dogs, sodas & popcorn all game long. The Tortugas will be wearing their special pink breast cancer awareness jerseys.
Thursday, July 6th - Thirsty Thursday - 7:05 PM first pitch vs. Clearwater
The biggest party in Volusia County returns to The Jack this Thursday, presented by Bud Light. Enjoy draft beers and sodas as cheap as $1 all night long. Take in the game from the liveliest bar in town, the Budweiser Bullpen in the right field corner.
Friday, July 7th - First Responders Night - 7:05 PM first pitch vs. Lakeland
The Tortugas will take the field in special First Responders jerseys. The Tortugas are offering FREE tickets to all of our local First Responders and discounted $5 tickets for their family and friends. Come celebrate a fun night at The Jack and honor all of our local First Responders! The jerseys will be auctioned off for charity.
Saturday, July 8th - Postgame Fireworks Extravaganza - 7:05 PM first pitch vs. Lakeland
Come enjoy the second fireworks show of the homestand, presented by Daytona Hyundai. Saturday's postgame fireworks shows are always the best in Volusia County. Plus, it's a bonus game for members of the Silver Sluggers club, presented by Metcare - allowing them free admittance.
Sunday, July 9th - Sunday T-Shirt Giveaway - 5:35 PM first pitch vs. Lakeland
First 500 fans through the gates Sunday will receive a free Tortugas themed t-shirt. Gates open at 4:30 PM. Plus, it's also a Tiny Tugas game - allowing free admittance for members of our Tiny Tugas club, presented by Coca-Cola. Kids get to the run the bases on the field following the conclusion of the game.
Monday, July 10th - Belly Buster Monday - 7:05 PM first pitch vs. Lakeland
Take advantage of the best deal in town! For just $12, you get a general admission ticket to the game as well as all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, Papa John's Pizza & popcorn. The food begins when gates open at 6 PM and continues until you can't handle any more! It'll be the final home game for the Tortugas until July 15th.
