Dust Devils Drop Extra Innings Heartbreaker

A fantastic performance by the pitching staff was not enough on Wednesday night at Gesa Stadium as the Tri-City Dust Devils (14-13, 30-35) lost in ten innings 1-0 to the Vancouver Canadians (12-15, 27-38). The Dust Devils fell to the Canadians despite allowing only three hits.
A prime opportunity to take the lead slipped away from Tri-City in the bottom of the seventh inning. The Dust Devils had Logan Driscoll at third base with no outs, but he was ultimately left stranded. One night removed after retiring 18 straight batters, Tri-City eclipsed that number on Wednesday with a stretch were 20 straight Canadians were turned away at the plate.
