The Tri-City Dust Devils (5-4) committed four errors and couldn't overcome five unearned runs as they fell on Saturday night 8-4 to the Everett AquaSox (6-3). Outfielder Luis Asuncion and third baseman Mason House each hit solo home runs in the game-one loss.

Starting Pitcher Cole Bellinger was hit for three doubles over two innings, which resulted in the first three runs for the AquaSox. They would be the only earned runs for Everett on the night.
Asuncion blasted his first home run of the season to lead off the fifth inning. Owen Miller followed the blast later in the inning with an RBI single along the right field line. The Dust Devils threatened with two runners aboard in the ninth, but couldn't score as the AquaSox won their sixth-consecutive game and took sole possession of first place in the Northwest League North Division.
