Record Crowd Watches Tri-City Sweep Spokane

In front of 3,830 fans, the most in team history, the Tri-City Dust Devils (5-3) completed the sweep over the Spokane Indians (2-6) on Friday night 5-3. After trailing early, Tri-City scored five unanswered runs to help secure the win.

After taking their first lead of the night in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Dust Devils found themselves in a jam in the top of the eighth inning. Tri-City escaped the inning unscathed despite Spokane having runners on second and third with no outs. Owen Miller helped spark the offense throughout the night, finishing with two hits and scoring three of the team's five runs.
The Dust Devils will now hit the road for six games. Tri-City will start a three-game series against the Everett AquaSox on Saturday night. Right-hander Cole Bellinger is slated to start the series opener.
The Dust Devils will return to Gesa Stadium on June 29th to begin a five-game series against the Boise Hawks. It will be $1 Family Feast Night sponsored by CO-Energy.
