The Tri-City Dust Devils (25-39) lost a nip and tuck game 4-3 to the Everett AquaSox on Saturday night at Funko Field. Tri-City’s power was again on display, with both Jordyn Adams and Franklin Torres hitting solo home runs.

The Dust Devils bid to send the game to extra innings fell short in the bottom of the ninth inning. Command issues for Tri-City’s bullpen allowed the winning run to score for the AquaSox after relievers Erick Julio and Luis Alvarado combined to hit one batter and surrender three walks in the ninth. Adrian Rondon’s hot stretch at the plate continued in the loss. Rondon now has 10 hits in the first five games of the road series.

The trip to Everett will come to an end on Sunday afternoon with the sixth and final game of the series. First pitch from Funko Field is set for 4:05 pm. Left-hander will toe the rubber for the Dust Devils, while Everett will counter with right-hander Taylor Dollard.
