The bats fell quiet for the Tri-City Dust Devils (10-18) on Friday night at Avista Stadium in Spokane as the team lost 3-0 to the Spokane Indians. Carlos Herrera delivered at the plate in the loss, finishing the game with two of Tri-City’s three hits.

Starting pitcher Aaron Hernandez suffered the loss after a solid outing. Hernandez surrendered two runs in his five innings of work. Despite ultimately being shut out, the Dust Devils did mount a threat in the ninth inning. Tri-City had the tying run at the plate with two outs before the rally came to an end.

Coming up in the fifth matchup of the six-game series on Saturday night the Dust Devils will send right-hander Dylan King to the mound, while right-hander Ryan Feltner will toe the rubber for the Indians.
