Drillers Back at ONEOK Field to Face Travs May 16-19

The Tulsa Drillers will be back at ONEOK Field on Thursday, May 16 to open a quick, four-game homestand. The Arkansas Travelers (Seattle Mariners) will make their third trip to Tulsa this season for the series that will run through Sunday, May 19.

Promotions for the homestand include a Walker Buehler Go Green Jersey giveaway to the first 1,000 fans on Thursday, May 16, while the first 1,500 fans will receive an Armed Forces Drillers Cap on Saturday, May 18. The annual Faith and Family night will be held on Friday, May 17. This fun night will include a post-game fireworks show and a free concert by Austin French.

The Drillers have played very well at ONEOK Field in 2019, going 11-6 in their first 17 home games, including a 6-1 mark during their last homestand. Tulsa has an overall record of 5-10 against Arkansas this season.

Thursday, May 16 . . . Arkansas Travelers (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM
MY41 THIRSTY THURSDAY / WALKER BUEHLER GO GREEN JERSEY GIVEAWAY
The first 1,000 fans through the Arvest or Oil Derrick entrances will receive a Walker Buehler Go Green Jersey, compliments of The M.e.t., TulsaRecycles.com, Mr. Murph and My41. This jersey will match the green jerseys that the Drillers will don for Go Green Night, and will have Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler's name on the back. In addition, there will be booths along the concourse with local vendors showing you how easy it is to go green. As fans exit that evening, they will be able to pick up a tree sapling to "grow your own baseball bat," courtesy of Up With Trees.
THIRSTY THURSDAY
We will be also offering Miller Lite, Coors Light and soda for $2 per serving for Thirsty Thursday. Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy will also be available for $4.

Friday, May 17 . . . Arkansas Travelers (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM
FOX23 FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS / FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT
It is another FOX23 Friday Night Fireworks with a fantastic post-game fireworks show presented by Arvest Million Meals, FOX23 and 94.1 KXOJ. After the game and fireworks, Christian artist Austin French will be performing a free concert on Elgin Avenue. French will be performing his hit, "Freedom Hymn" which has over 7.4 million views on YouTube. Also, fans can get $1 off the price of a game ticket by donating a canned food item at the ticket windows.

Saturday, May 18 . . . Arkansas Travelers (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM
DRILLERS ARMED FORCES CAP GIVEAWAY
The first 1,500 fans through the Arvest or Oil Derrick entrances will receive a Drillers Armed Forces Cap, courtesy of HARSCO, Tulsa's Channel 8 and 102.3 FM & 740 AM KRMG. The Drillers will also have a $1 per ticket military discount to thank the men and women who are serving our country.

Sunday, May 19 . . . Arkansas Travelers (1:05 PM) - Gates Open at 11:30 AM
2 WORKS FOR YOU KIDS EAT FREE SOUVENIR SUNDAY / KIDS BASEBALL CLINIC
WIFFLE BALL & BAT GIVEAWAY

The first 500 kids, ages 12 and under, to enter through the Arvest or Oil Derrick entrances will receive a Wiffle Ball and Bat, courtesy of the Green Country Chevy Dealers, 2 Works for You and 106.1 The Twister.
PSO YOUTH BASEBALL CLINIC
Prior to the game, all youth baseball and softball players are invited to participate in the PSO Youth Skills Clinic. The Arvest Gate will open at 11:30 AM so young players can go on the field to learn baseball skills straight from the Drillers, compliments of PSO. All other gates will open at 12:00 PM.
KIDS EAT FREE
It will be a great day for young fans as all kids, ages 12 and under, will receive a Kids Eat Free coupon when they enter the ballpark, The coupon will be redeemable for a free hot dog, a Hiland milk, fruit cup and ice cream.
