Drillers Set Spring Training Schedule
The Tulsa Drillers quest to defend their 2018 Texas League Championship will officially begin with spring training workouts at the Los Angeles Dodgers Complex in Glendale, Arizona. Spring training will get underway when players and manager Scott Hennessey report to Camelback Ranch later this month. Workouts will continue in Arizona
The Tulsa Drillers quest to defend their 2018 Texas League Championship will officially begin with spring training workouts at the Los Angeles Dodgers Complex in Glendale, Arizona. Spring training will get underway when players and manager Scott Hennessey report to Camelback Ranch later this month.
Workouts will continue in Arizona through the final weekend in March. Spring training will also include a slate of 15 preseason exhibition games against other Double-A teams.
All games will be played in the Phoenix area with most games scheduled to begin at 2:00pm CDT. The Spring Training opener is scheduled for Monday, March 11 when Drillers face the San Francisco Giants Double-A Affiliate, the Richmond Flying Squirrels. After the conclusion of spring training, the Drillers will start the 2019 regular season on Thursday, April 4 with the championship banner being raised at ONEOK Field. The defense of their title will then begin against the Arkansas Travelers with the first pitch at 7:05 PM.
