Vancouver Canadians Broadcast Catalog for games seen on Sportsnet Pacific

SATURDAY, AUGUST 10, 2019 - EVERETT 11 at CANADIANS 1

Vancouver's RHP Grant Townsend starts and runs into trouble in the second inning when both Utah Jones and Cesar Izturis Jr. find RBI base hits to give the Aquasox an early 4-0 lead. Everett plates three more in the top of the third inning when Robert Perez and Carter Bins also collect RBI hits to help build a 7-0 lead. Bins would be heard from again in his next plate appearance slamming a two-run home run off RHP Alex Nolan to build a 9-0 lead.

The Canadians lone run would come in the sixth inning when Trevor Schwecke smacked his first home run of the season, a solo shot.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 17, 2019 - VANCOUVER 3 vs. BOISE 2 (12 innings)

Pitching takes center stage for the Canadians early on as RHP Jared DiCesare goes four innings of one-hit baseball while his offense waits until the fourth inning to give him support. RF Will Robertson opens the scoring in the fourth with an RBI double followed by Adrian Ramos with a double in the fifth inning to help the C's open up a 2-0 lead. Doubles from Hawks Yorvis Torrealba and Trey Jacobs even the game up in the sixth.

The Canadians find the victory in extra innings but we won't spoil it for you other than to say it's not the way you usually think a game would end!

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2019 - CANADIANS 8 vs. TRI-CITY 7

The final game of our Sportsnet Pacific broadcast package might have been the best of the bunch as both Tri-City and Vancouver were still in the hunt for a spot in the Northwest League post-season. Not only did fans get a look at highly-touted Blue Jays prospect RHP Adam Kloffenstein but we also got to watch two desperate teams go back-and-forth. The C's trailed in this one by three runs heading to the bottom of the seventh inning but then both teams started trading big hits leading to a dramatic bottom of the ninth.

With the chips on the table and the bases loaded in front of a crowd that was rocking - a certain former Nittany Lion stepped to the forefront and helped the Canadians walk off a must-have victory in front of a sold-out stadium.
