(Memorial Stadium - Boise, ID) - Just hours after mashing out a season-high 16 hits in a 7-1 victory over Boise, the Vancouver Canadians offense went ice cold managing just two hits in a 6-0 shutout loss to the Hawks on Friday night out at Memorial Stadium.
Boise plated a trip of runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning as Canadians RHP Sean Wymer (1-2) ran into trouble in his final frame as 3B Danny Edgeworth got the 4th rounder out of Texas Christian University for a two-run single that proved to be the game's winning hit.  
DH Daniel Jipping hit a tall, towering home run in the bottom of the 6th inning off Canadians reliever LHP Nick Allgeyer on a 0-2 pitch that scored RF Cade Harris to extend the lead to 5-0 before 1B Luis Castro hit an RBI triple in the bottom of the 7th to round out the Friday night scoring.
Vancouver got two solid innings from RHP Joey Murray (2.0IP, 0H, 4SO) and RHP Connor Law recorded a clean inning in the botton of the 8th with a lone strikeout. The Canadians lone hits came from 3B Jesus Severino (Top 5) and 2B Otto Lopez (Top 9) as four Boise Hawks pitchers combined on the shutout victory with reliever RHP Colton Pate recording his first professional victory.
With the loss, Vancouver falls back to .500 at 14-14 with ten games remaining in the first half of the Northwest League season and will send RHP Juan Nunez (0-1, 3.09) to the mound as the Canadians look to win their 7th game in the past nine.
