The game was re-located to Vancouver but still allowed for the Indians to play as the 'home' team giving them the game's final at-bats which almost proved costly for the Canadians who after taking a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the 9th inning, saw closer RHP

The Canadians ended the night with 15 strikeouts and saw their consecutive scoreless innings streak end at 40 2/3 when Ouellette allowed the lone run in the 9th inning. The streak started on August 30th in the 5th inning against Boise.
With the win, Vancouver moves to within one game of clinching a spot in the Northwest League Championship Series which is set for September 9th through 13th (subject to change without notice). The Canadians move to 10-3 (.769) this season vs. Spokane and 6-1 (.857) out at historic Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium.
