BURLINGTON, VT --- The Vermont Lake Monsters are excited to announce that Jeff Kent has joined the team's front office as the Director of Marketing and In Game Entertainment.
A graduate of Syracuse University and originally from Essex Junction, Vermont, Jeff joins the Lake Monsters after spending the past six months with the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA working in their Inside Sales department.
Jeff has previously worked for the Lake Monsters during three seasons from 2015-2017. He has extensive experience in the Box Office, and spent a season managing two gameday staff departments.
"It is great to be able to add Jeff to our full-time staff", says Lake Monsters General Manager Joe Doud. "We have been trying to get Jeff to join us for quite a bit, and the timing has never been right. Jeff has done a phenomenal job for us over the past few years and has always excelled with each new responsibility given to him. We can't wait to see his impact at the ballpark in our great community."
Jeff will have two main focuses in his role. One of which will be overseeing all of the marketing efforts of the organization. He also will continue to build upon the family friendly atmosphere at historic Centennial Field through the in-game fan experience.
Jeff joins two other recently added members to the Lake Monsters front office: Hannah Carlin as the new Box Office & Team Operations Manager along with Philip Nerber as the new Ticket Sales & Operations Manager.
