VISALIA, CA - For the second straight night the JetHawks got on the board first on an RBI single in the third. Lancaster starter Ty Culbreth had tossed three perfect innings to start the game and struck out the first two batters in the fourth.

Then Marcus Wilson reached on a swinging-bunt single to third and the floodgates opened. Dominic Miroglio and Drew Ellis followed with singles to tie the game at one. Renae Martinez walked and Jason Morozowski drilled a bases-clearing double off the wall in center field to put Visalia up for good, 4-1.
The Rawhide added on in each of their final three at backs. Ellis drilled a two-run homer to left in the sixth and Luis Alejandro Basabe and Stephen Smith hit back-to-back home runs in the seventh. Ramon Hernandez and Basabe with back-to-back with doubles in the eighth to give the Rawhide a nine-run night, the first time they'd scored nine runs since plating 14 against San Jose on July 1.
Every Rawhide position player had a hit tonight while Miroglio led the charge with three hits. Ellis drove home three in his first multi-hit game since July 8 and Basabe brought home a pair for the first while playing for Visalia (50-51/13-18).
Meanwhile, Connor Grey once again settled into a rhythm in the middle innings. After allowing the run-scoring single to Colton Welker, Grey (W, 8-6) buckled down and went on to retire nine straight JetHawks hitters before surrendering a one-out double to Tyler Nevin in the sixth.
Grey tossed a Quality Start by going six innings for the second straight start while allowing just one run on four hits. He walked four, struck out six, and escaped a bases-loaded jam in the second. He stranded two runners on base in the sixth by striking out Joel Diaz on a high fastball to end his night.

Miguel Aguilar punched out the side in order in the seventh, Lancaster (50-51/17-14) would tack on three more runs on a two-run homer by Vince Fernandez and a run-scoring single by Wes Rogers in the eighth and ninth innings respectively.
Culbreth (L, 5-4) was lifted after Ellis's home run and lasted 5.1 innings while allowing six runs on six hits and striking out six.
