Lake Elsinore Storm scored their first run of the game in the top of the seventh. Eguy Rosario grounded out to score Allen Córdoba from third. Visalia answered back in the bottom half of the inning. Jancarlos Cintron drove in Alex King and Joe Gillette when he doubled to right field. In the eighth, King extended the lead to 5-1 with an RBI single to right field.
The Storm fought back in the top of the ninth, but they came up short. Final score was 5-3 Rawhide. Visalia now has a four-game win streak and Diaz has a 13-game hit streak.
