VISALIA, CA-Lancaster scored first in the top of the third inning when Luke Morgan doubled on a line drive. Todd Czinege scored from second base to take the lead 1-0. Czinege was the only run scored in the game for Lancaster.
In the bottom half of the third, Eduardo Diaz singled with Yoel Yanqui on second base to tie up the ballgame. Diaz stole third base and Jancarlos Cintron drove him in by hitting a sacrifice fly to shallow centerfield. Visalia led 2-1 and kept that lead for the rest of the game.
Max Murphy doubled with two outs in the fourth inning and Anfernee Grier hit a two-run blast over the left field wall to double Visalia's lead. The home run is Grier's third home run of the six-game homestand. It was also the final run scored of the game and Visalia won 4-1.
Justin Lewis earned his second win of the season after pitching six scoreless innings. He struck out a career-high nine Lancaster batters. Breckin Williams earned his tenth save of the season after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
