Saturday's game will not be made up, as its result does not directly impact the Midwest League Eastern Division playoff race. The two teams will play a nine-inning contest as-scheduled on Sunday beginning at 2:00 pm.
The rainout marks the sixth time the Whitecaps have had a game washed out during the 2019 campaign, and the third straight Saturday the 'Caps have been rained out dating back to last week's postponement at Bowling Green, and the week prior at Lake County. The game, whose stats will not count, was halted in the top of the fourth inning with the Cubs leading West Michigan by a score of 5-0.
