The West Virginia Black Bears are committed to bettering their community. From community service and projects to charitable donations, its our goal to continue serving Monongalia County and its residents.
Every year, the Black Bears donate ticket vouchers and other items to over one hundred worthwhile non-profit organizations and charitable events, as well as taking part in Minor League Baseball community programs and contributing to the New York-Penn League Charitable Foundation.
All Black Bears athletes participate in community service as part of the Pittsburgh Pirates Community Commitment Program, making appearances and becoming involved in community projects at Ronald McDonald House, WVU Medicine Children's Hospital and other local organizations.
