The West Virginia Black Bears are happy to introduce a special edition West Virginia Moonshiners jersey and cap this season. The name change will be for a three-game home series set to take place July 17-19 at Monongalia County Ballpark.
The cap will feature the car logo, which represents the vehicles used to transport the beverage during the prohibition era. The body of the hat will be black while the bill will feature a metallic copper color. This copper can be seen throughout the Moonshiners theme as it pays homage to the color of the stills that are used to produce Moonshine.
The team will also don crisp white jerseys with a copper script on the front. A patch on one sleeve will be a replica image of the copper still. The other sleeve will host the WV Black Bears primary logo.
The cap and replica jersey will be available for sale in the Bears Den Team Store beginning July 17th. Other merchandise such as t-shirts, various caps, mason jars and car decals will be available as well.
The West Virginia Moonshiners series is a way for the Bears to pay homage to the rich history of West Virginia. From replica cars to food items with a moonshine flair. Fans will be able to encompass themselves in the tradition in a variety of ways.
Special ticket packs featuring all three games are now on sale for $30 per pack. Each pack features one reserved ticket to each night of the series. Individual tickets are also available now.
