WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (June 10, 2019) - Due to unplayable field conditions because of the heavy rainfall over the past week, Winston-Salem's scheduled game against Salem on Monday at BB&T Ballpark has been postponed. The postponed game will be made up as a part of a doubleheader on Tuesday beginning at 5:00 p.m. Both games will be seven-inning contests.
As was intended for Monday, with heavy rainfalls hitting the Triad over the past week, the Dash will be playing Tuesday's doubleheader opener against the Salem Red Sox as the "Winston-Salem Splash". BB&T Ballpark will also bear the moniker of "BB&T Aquarium".
All tickets for Monday's postponed contest are redeemable for any remaining regular season home game in 2019, excluding July 4th. Meanwhile, gates will open at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday for all ticket holders.
Tuesday's contest will be a Taco Tuesday, with $2 tacos available at the concession stand behind homplate. The series finale with Salem will be a Winston Wednesday. To celebrate the Twin City, the Dash are offering $10 presale tickets for Wednesday's game and the team will sport retro Warthogs jerseys. For tickets and more information, call the Dash at (336) 714-2287 or visit wsdash.com.
