In picking up a no-decision, McClure was strong in his second High-A start. Overall, the former fourth-round pick out of the University of Louisville recorded six innings, allowing two hits while walking four and striking out four. In two outings with the Dash, the right-hander has yielded an 0.75 ERA.
Making his first start with Carolina, Aaron Ashby allowed just one hit in seven shutout innings, striking out eight in that span.
