Wood Ducks Announce Kids Free on Monday as Thank You to Fans

By Down East Wood Ducks | July 10, 2017 12:45 PM ET

Kinston, North Carolina - The Down East Wood Ducks announced earlier today that Kids (Age 12 and Under) will receive FREE Admission for any Monday home game, when accompanied by a parent, for the remainder of the 2017 season. The promotion will start with tonight's game and will cover the remaining Monday night games in the 2017 season: Monday, July 17th, Monday, July 24th, and Monday, August 14th

"We wanted to provide a "thank you" to our fans for the tremendous support we have received in our inaugural season and the timing seemed right since we reached the 100,000 milestone yesterday" said Wade Howell, Wood Ducks GM. "We know that our fan base is made up of a variety of demographics but from the beginning it was our goal to have an affordable, family-friendly, game atmosphere so we think this is a natural promotion for us to add."

Mondays will continue to be $1 Hot Dog Nights and the Wood Ducks will also add $1 Pepsi products (7.5 ounces) to the Monday night concession menu.

"A family of four (with 2 kids below the age of 12) can now attend a Monday night game and not only see exciting Wood Ducks action but each of them can have a hot dog and a Pepsi and do it all for $20. There isn't a better entertainment option in Eastern North Carolina" said Howell.
