ESPN Celebs & Rockies Headline Hot Stove

Hartford, Conn- The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has announced its first round of guest speakers for the annual "Hot Stove Luncheon" on Thursday, January 19th, 2017(12:00 PM-2:00 PM) at the Connecticut Convention Center (100 Columbus Blvd.) in Hartford. The guest speakers will include on-air talent personalities from ESPN including Karl Ravech, who serves as primary host of ESPN's Emmy Award-winning Baseball Tonight, and Major League Baseball Analyst Doug Glanville.

Former NLCS MVP and World Series Champion Rob Dibble, now host of The Rob Dibble Show on 97-9 ESPN Radio will be one of the guest speakers along with Colorado Rockies RHP Matt Carasiti, who is from Berlin. The Hot Stove Luncheon will also include Yard Goats first baseman Correlle Prime who played on the first ever Hartford club and was named the Rockies Most Outstanding Minor League Performer in 2014. More guest speakers will be announced at a later time.

 

The Yard Goats Hot Stove Luncheon is open to the public and tickets may be purchased for $50 per person or $500 per table of ten (860-246-4628) with the proceeds benefiting the Yard Goats Foundation, a 501 (C) (3) non for profit organization. This is a great event for any baseball or sports fan and will feature a speaking segment along with raffles and a chance to win autographed memorabilia and other great prizes.

In addition, there are very attractive sponsorship opportunities available for those interested in securing tables of 10 with a sponsor logo featured in the program and photo montage as well as a banner, information placed at each table and recognition by the Master of Ceremonies.
