Rock Cats Release 2013 Promotional Schedule this Week
The New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, begin a series of unveiling the 2013 Promotional Calendar with the announcement of 13 Fireworks Extravaganzas to take place at New Britain Stadium following the Rock Cats game. The first Fireworks Show will take place at the home opener on Thursday, April 11 against the Red Sox affiliate, Portland. The Rock Cats added two Fireworks Shows on Sunday nights (July 21 vs B-Mets & September 1 vs Reading) for the first time in club history. Fans will also get to celebrate Independence Day with a special Fireworks Show on Wednesday, July 3. Most Friday home game will feature a Fireworks Show or Pyrotechnics display at New Britain Stadium.
The Rock Cats have also announced the "Day of the Week" promotions. These promotions will give fans the opportunity to take advantage of the great values offered this season. Families have the opportunity to come to the ballpark and have their Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays. Also returning is the very popular "Vantis Life Family 4 Pack" for each Wednesday game where fans can receive 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 popcorns, 4 Aquafina waters for $40. Thursday and Saturday's feature happy hours, celebrity appearances and premium giveaways. There will be a block party prior to each Saturday home game with events for the entire family. Sunday's are Family Fun Day where the kids get to run the bases after the game.
