Popular Event Celebrating Baseball At Gershon Fox Ballroom from 12-2PM
New Britain, CT- The New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies will be holding its annual "Hot Stove Luncheon" on Thursday, January 29, 2015 (12:00 PM-2:00 PM) at Gershon Fox Ballroom (old G-Fox Building at 960 Main Street) in downtown Hartford. The popular event will feature Colorado Rockies Senior Director of Player Development Zach Wilson, former NLCS MVP Rob Dibble, 2013-2014 Rock Cats Pitcher Ryan O'Rourke and projected 2015 Rock Cats pitcher Scott Oberg, who was a star at the University of Connecticut. Other guest speakers will be added to the list at a later date. There will be media availability for Zach Wilson and Scott Oberg prior to the luncheon from 11:00-11:45.
The Rock Cats Hot Stove Luncheon is open to the public and tickets may be purchased for $45 per person or $450 per table of ten (860-224-8383) with the proceeds benefiting Wilson-Gray YMCA Youth & Family Center and the Rock Cats Foundation, a 501 (C) (3) non for profit organization. The price of the ticket also includes parking at the Morgan Street Garage (155 Morgan Street). This is a great event for any baseball or sports fan and will feature a speaking segment along with raffles and a chance to win autographed memorabilia and other great prizes.
