HARTFORD- Parker French delivered his second consecutive quality start and the Hartford Yard Goats beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 5-3, Tuesday night at Dunkin' Donuts Park. The fourth straight win for the Yard Goats enabled them to clinch their first series in their new ballpark and it evened the Plymouth Rock Rivalry Series. The winner of the 19-game season series between these two New England rivals will take home the Plymouth Rock Assurance Cup.

French hurled 6.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits. He didn't walk anybody and struck out eight. The right-hander from the University of Texas improved his record to 2-2.
Reliever James Farris nailed down the win with his team-leading fourth save, throwing a scoreless ninth inning, after D.J. Johnson pitched 1.2 scoreless innings of relief.
Dillon Thomas continued his hot hitting for the Yard Goats, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. His single in the third inning snapped a 2-2 tie and Hartford never relinquished the lead. Josh Fuentes also had three hits, helping to fuel the Yard Goats' nine-hit attack.
The Yard Goats go for their first series sweep Wednesday morning at 10:35. LH Sam Howard pitches for the Yard Goats against RH Sean Reid-Foley for New Hampshire. The game will be carried on AM 1410 WPOP and on newsradio1410.iheart.co
