Fan Fest to be on Saturday, May 16th
Hillsboro, OR (May 6, 2015) - The Hillsboro Hops (@HillsboroHops) will hold a FanFest on Saturday, May 16th at Ron Tonkin Field between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
Fans will have the opportunity to take a behind the scenes tour of Ron Tonkin Field and take their picture with the 2014 Northwest League Championship Trophy. Kids can run the bases, play catch on the Hops home field, pitch in the bullpen, play in the Kids Zone on the Hops inflatables and participate in carnival games. Complimentary hot dogs and Coca-Cola products will be served to those fans in attendance.
The Hops ticket office will also begin selling single-game tickets to Hops games for the 2015 season that morning at 10:00am.
"We're excited to offer a FanFest for the first time at Ron Tonkin Field," said Hops Executive VP and GM K.L. Wombacher. "Our fan support has been tremendous in the first two years so we wanted to put on a free event for the community as a thank you for their gracious support."
The Hillsboro Hops open the 2015 season on Thursday, June 18 in Spokane. Opening Night at Ron Tonkin Field in Hillsboro will be Tuesday, June 23 against South Division-rival Salem-Keizer.
