Peter Alonso hit two solo home runs for the Mets, but it was the Jupiter offense that controlled the game.
The Hammerheads scored three runs off Mets starter
Alonso's second homer in the sixth cut the Mets deficit to 4-2. However, the Hammerheads scored two in the seventh to go up 6-2.

Alonso now has 12 home runs on the season in just 51 games. He has five homers in his last five games. He is the first St. Lucie Met to reach 12 homers in a season since
Mets starter Nabil Crismatt struck out eight and gave up just two earned runs in five innings. He now leads the Florida State League in innings pitched (107) and strikeouts (111).
