The Syracuse Chiefs lost to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, 7-3, in spring training action at Dunedin, FL today.
Ricky Romero got the start for the Chiefs and allowed four runs on six hits, including two home runs.
David Smith wnet 2-for-4 for Syracuse while Adam Lind knocked in two runs. Both of Smith's hits were doubles.
The Chiefs and Yankees will meet again tomorrow in Tampa.
