Todd McInnis tossed six sscoreless on Saturday night against the Hammerheads
The Palm Beach Cardinals (33-35) committed a season-high six errors, as they fell to the Jupiter Hammerheads (37-28), 5-1.

The Cardinals got off to a great start, as starter Todd McInnis was on point, tossing six scoreless innings. The right-hander yielded six hits, walking one batter, while striking out four.

He was in line for the victory, as the Cardinals scored first in the bottom of the third. After a single by James Ramsey, the centerfielder advanced to scoring position on a groundout by Tyler Rahmatulla and was brought in on an RBI single by Alan Ahmady.

The score remained scoreless into the last two frames of the game. In the eighth inning, the Hammerheads took the lead on two walks and two hits. Ryan Fisher scored from second on a throwing error, while Dallas Poulk grounded into a bases loaded double play to make it 2-1.

The Cardinals had a chance in the bottom of the eighth inning, as they loaded the bases on two hits and walk. However, the inning came to a halt when Rainel Rosario grounded into the inning-ending double play.

The Hammerheads would blow it open in the ninth, scoring three runs on three hits and three errors. Noah Perio added to his 3-for-5 night with an RBI single, the first RBI of the game, while Dallas Poulk and J.T. Realmuto added their second hits of the game.

Iden Nazario (5-3) would take the loss, as he gave up two runs in 1 2/3 innings, while Jordan Conley (5-0) picked up the win for his two innings of scoreless baseball.

For the Cardinals it was a bitter way to end their last home game, committing a season-high, franchise-tying six errors, while dropping the game to the Hammerheads.

The Cardinals will finish the 2012 season with a matinee game against the Jupiter Hammerheads at 12:05 tomorrow. Anthony Ferrara is scheduled to make the start.
