RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the 2012 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, and the Metropolitan Junior Baseball League will hold a press conference at The Diamond on Tuesday, February 12th at 1 PM. The two organizations will make joint announcements regarding the MJBL Inner-City Classic and regional youth baseball.

The press conference will include speakers; Todd "Parney" Parnell (Flying Squirrels' Vice President/COO), William Forrester (MJBL Executive Director), Mayor Dwight C. Jones (Mayor - City of Richmond), Frank Thornton (Henrico Board of Supervisors) and Jack Berry (Richmond Metropolitan Visitors and Convention Bureau).

A light lunch will be available to media prior to the press conference. Food will be served at 12:30 PM. The press conference will take place in the Flying Squirrels' Clubhouse at The Diamond. To gain entrance to the clubhouse, media should check in at the Flying Squirrels' Front Office located along the first-base side of the ballpark.
