4th Annual Craft Brewfest set for July 27

Event serves as fundraiser for league's charitable foundation

TROY, NY- The Tri-City ValleyCats baseball team and Brown's Brewing Company proudly present the 4th Annual Capital Region Craft Brewers Festival. The festival will be held on Saturday, July 27th from 2:30 until 6:30 pm at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY.

Craft beer fans will enjoy a fun-filled afternoon celebrating the art of craft brewing with some of the finest craft breweries in the Northeast. In addition to sampling great beer and food, there will be live music and a home brewing demonstration. The inaugural Capital Region Craft Brewers Festival was held on July 24th of 2010 with fifteen breweries in attendance. Participation has increased each year with almost thirty breweries featured in 2012, spanning Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Vermont, and even Michigan. A list of this year's participating breweries will be updated on the festival website as they are confirmed.

This is a fundraising event to benefit the New York-Penn League Charitable Foundation with proceeds going to help provide safe and well-maintained playing fields for children throughout the area.

The New York-Penn League Charitable Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Minor League Baseball's Class-A Short Season New York-Penn League. The foundation's mission is to provide charitable support for local community efforts by the 14 member clubs of the New York-Penn League.
