Tigers Homestand Preview June 17-18

Norwich, CT - The Connecticut Tigers kickoff the 2013 New York-Penn League Season with a two-game homestand against the Lowell Spinners (June 17-18, Red Sox) at Dodd Stadium. The fun starts Monday at 7:05 p.m. with Opening Day and a post game fireworks display.

Every Monday game "Kid's Eat Free" with each child ticket (12 & under) will receive a voucher redeemable for a hot dog, bag of chips, bottle water, and an apple sponsored by US Foods and The Day. It will also be the first Social Media Monday. Check out the Tigers Facebook and Twitter pages on gameday for prior to every Monday home game for an exclusive deal presented by XtraMart. Former Red Sox Outfielder, Bernie Carbo will be in attendance to make a special guest appearance.

On Tuesday, June 18 the series between the Tigers and Spinners wraps up at 7:05 p.m. It is the first "Dollar Dogs" day as all hot dogs are just $1 each and is presented by Kayem. It is also "Tuesday Night Senior Night" courtesy of Pierce Care: Independent, Assisted, Nursing, and Rehab Care. Each Senior Citizen (60+) ticket purchased at the Dodd Stadium box office or over the phone is 50% off and comes with a voucher redeemable for a free bottled Pepsi product.

The Connecticut Tigers are the NYPL affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game (38 home, 38 away) that opens on June 17 against the Lowell Spinners, affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. 2013 season tickets and tickets to the 2013 NYPL All-Star Game are now on sale!
