Shorebirds Home on July 4th Weekend; 4-7

Salisbury, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds will play at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium from Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 7. The Shorebirds have two Q105 postgame fireworks shows and other great promotions planned during the homestand. For tickets and information, call the Shorebirds Box Office at 410-219-3112.

The series against the Hagerstown Suns (Nationals) opens on Thursday, July 4 with an Independence Day Bash celebration at 6:35pm. The Shorebirds have organized a special picnic package for fans in the Picnic Pavilion. Get an hour and a half buffet dinner plus a great seat at the game. The buffet includes BBQ chicken, Hot Dogs, Coleslaw, Chips, Watermelon, and Fresh Smores! Food will be served from 6:00-7:30pm. The cost for the Independence Day Bash is $23 for the general public and $20 for season ticket holders (includes game ticket). After the game, all fans will enjoy the biggest, longest and best fireworks show of the season presented by Preston Automotive Group. July 4 is also a Kiss 95.9 Thirsty Thursday so enjoy $1.50 12 oz. Miller Lite and Coors Light draft beers and $1.50 12 oz. Pepsi drinks.

The series continues on Friday, July 5 with first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm. It's Boy Scout Night at Perdue Stadium. Game three of the series is scheduled for Saturday, July 6 at 7:05pm. Stay late for a Q105 postgame fireworks show presented by Labinal! It's also Christmas in July so get in the holiday spirit. Dress in your favorite Christmas outfit. 

The homestand concludes on Sunday, July 7 at 5:05pm. It's a "Strike Out Hunger" Sunday so bring two canned food items to the box office and get a general admission ticket for just $2. All the canned food items will be handed over to the local food banks on the Eastern Shore. Plus, all Junior Shorebirds Kids Club members get to run the bases after the game.
