Homestand Preview: July 18th-21st

80's Night, Frank Beamer Appearance & Christmas in July

RICHMOND, VA - The Flying Squirrels host the Bowie Baysox for a four-game series starting with an 80's Movie Night and Fireworks. The promotions continue with an appearance by Virginia Tech Head Football Coach Frank Beamer and a Bobblehead Giveaway, Princess & Knight Night & Fireworks and Christmas in July with the first 2,000 kids 14 & under receiving a Snow Globe. 

Thursday, July 18th vs. Bowie

Gates Open:  6:00 PM First Pitch:  7:05 PM

Flashback to the past on 80's Movie Night and enjoy Fireworks presented by Coventry Health Care of VA & Your Local Ford Dealer! Meet the Virginia Ghostbusters and see a Back to The Future DeLorean in front of the marquee. The Centipedes will be crawling over AT&T Family Entertainment Zone Stage with their 80's tunes!

Friday, July 19th vs. Bowie - Doubleheader

Gates Open: 5:00 PM First Pitch:  5:35 PM

The Virginia Tech Football Head Coach will be on hand for Frank Beamer Bobblehead Night presented by AAA. The first 2,000 fans 15 & older will receive their very own Beamer Bobblehead! Fans are also encouraged to donate books for the Herma's Readers Book Drive benefiting the Children's Museum of Richmond. For every book donated fans will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win: 4 tickets and a first pitch at a future game, 2013 Team Autographed Baseball, Children's Museum of Richmond Family Membership, and two Family 4-packs of Tickets to the Children's Museum. 

Coach Beamer will throw out a first pitch to start the second game. Every Friday Night is Ladies Night where ladies 18 and older can win great prizes from our sponsors! The Mike Lucci Band will perform pre-game on the AT&T Family Entertainment Zone Stage. After the game Kids Run the Bases presented by McDonald's and Richmond Family Magazine!

Saturday, July 20th vs. Bowie

Gates Open: 4:30 PM First Pitch: 6:05 PM

Princess & Knight Night returns to The Diamond for an exclusive picnic in the ORC Pavilion and post-game Fireworks presented by Davenport & Company. Fans are encouraged to dress up as a Princess or Knight and can participate in the pre-game parade. After the game Kids Run the Bases presented by McDonald's and Richmond Family Magazine! Boxcar will entertain fans on the AT&T Family Entertainment Zone Stage pre-game.

Sunday, July 21st vs. Bowie

Gates Open: 12:30 PM First Pitch: 2:05 PM

Christmas in July will not include snow but the holiday spirit will be spread for all to hear. The first 2,000 fans 14 & under will receive a Snow Globe courtesy of Coca-Cola. Pre-game Kinetic Element will be electric on the AT&T Family Entertainment Zone stage. Santa will be in the SunTrust Autograph Hut from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Catch on the Field presented by Nesquik from 1:15 PM to 1:35 PM and Kids Run the Bases presented by McDonald's and Richmond Family Magazine after the game!
