SeaWolves Drop Series to Senators
The SeaWolves season came to an end on Saturday night as they dropped game four of the Western Division Championship series 5-1
The Senators got out to a quick start in the first inning against Erie starter Ramon Garcia. Brian Goodwin reached on an infield single with one out and scored on a Steven Souza double making it 1-0. Souza scored on a Ricky Hague single making it 2-0.
Harrisburg added to its lead in the in the second. Jerad Head singled, reached second on a passed ball and scored on a Jason Martinson double making it 3-0.
Erie cut into the lead against Harrisburg starter Robbie Ray in the fourth. Eugenio Suarez led off with a walk and was doubled home by Daniel Fields making it 3-1.
In the seventh, Harrisburg added to its lead on Ryan Robowski. Billy Burns led off with an infield single and scored on a one-out Souza double making it 4-1. Souza scored on a Justin Bloxom bloop single making it 5-1.
Garcia took the loss allowing three runs on six hits in three innings of work.
