Silver Hawks' Team President to Be Awarded 2014 Outstanding Young Business Leader

Joe Hart, Silver Hawks' Team President, has been selected as the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce 2014 Outstanding Young Business Leader.

It means a great deal to me personally and professionally, but to me this is a team award.   I am very proud of my staff and the entire Michiana region because without the support and cooperation of everyone this certainly would not have been possible.   I am very blessed to have a wonderful owner, Mr. Andrew Berlin, who believed in me and gave me the resources to provide a great experience for our fans.   It is a pleasure being a part of this community and I can't think of a better place that I would want to be." stated Joe Hart, Silver Hawks' Team President.

 Hart was selected by the Chamber's selection committee for the award, which brings to light and recognizes an outstanding young business leader who has reached professional achievement in his or her career, positively impacts the community, shows promise for continued success and works to engage and lead other young professionals.

Hart will be awarded Thursday, February 27 during the Chamber's Salute to Business annual luncheon. Salute to Business recognizes the accomplishments of individuals and businesses from the past year.

The South Bend Silver Hawks are a Class A minor league team affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team is owned and operated by Swing-Batter-Swing, LLC whose sole shareholder is Andrew T. Berlin of Chicago, IL. Opening Day is Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
