Remembering Dave Hall
For more than 10 years at State Mutual Stadium, Rome Braves photographer Dave Hall could be found throughout the ballpark with camera or laptop in hand willing to help anyone who came in his path. His expertise with computers and online technology began his partnership with the team, but his work behind the camera solidified him as part of the family. Dave was famous among the Rome Braves faithful for his late inning Rally Caps from the third base camera well and his kindness to whomever he met.
With approximately 700 consecutive home games under his belt, it was very noticeable on April 13th, 2013 when Dave was not at the game. The Rome Braves were notified of his passing later on that evening.
On April 10th, 2014 the Rome Braves dedicated the Third Base Camera Well in memory of longtime photographer and friend, Dave Hall. Dave, thanks for always helping out when we needed something.
