Jon Clemmons Bio

Jon Clemmons- Assistant General Manager

Originally from Swansboro, along the east coast of North Carolina, Jon enters his seventh season with the Asheville Tourists. Formerly the Promotions & Merchandise Manager, Jon enters his third season as Assistant General Manager. Prior to arriving in Asheville, he spent four seasons with the Carolina Mudcats, the former AA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds as their Director of Ticket Operations.

Jon graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne, Asheville with a Masters of Business Administration degree in August, 2015. He graduated from North Carolina State University as a Park Scholar in May of 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. He also received minors in Spanish and Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.

As an avid sports fan, Jon enjoys cheering for his beloved Wolfpack and 27 time World Series Champion New York Yankees. In his spare time, you may find Jon relaxing on the beach, fishing along the beautiful coast of North Carolina, golfing, skiing the mountain slopes, whitewater rafting, traveling to various ballparks, stadiums or even abroad.
