The nominees for the month of April are below, with all stats as of Tuesday:

Carlos Asuaje, IF: Asuaje currently leads the Drive in numerous offensive categories, including batting average (.379), hits (25), multi-hit games (9), doubles (8), triples (5), RBI (16), walks (14), on-base percentage (.500) and slugging percentage (.652). His batting average, on-base percentage and triples numbers lead the league as well. 

Joe Gunkel, RHP: The 6'6 Gunkel has played a big role out of the Drive bullpen so far in 2014, posting 2 saves in 7 appearances with a 2.57 ERA. In 14.0 innings, he has allowed 11 hits, 4 earned runs and 4 walks while punching out 19 hitters and holding opponents to a .204 batting average. 

Cody Kukuk, LHP: Kukuk returned to Greenville to begin the 2014 season, and he has shown signs of dominance once again. Through 5 starts, he boasts a 3-0 record with a 1.88 ERA and is holding opponents to a .217 batting average. He has also struck out 29 hitters in 24.0 innings, a 10.87 K/9 ratio that ranks third in the league among starters.

Kevin Mager, OF: In 19 games with the Drive in April, Mager supplied power to the middle of the lineup, popping a team-leading 4 homers and driving in 13 runs to go along with a .306 batting average. He is near the top of the team leaderboard in runs (2nd, 16) and hits (T-3rd, 22) as well.

Teddy Stankiewicz, RHP: Stankiewicz's month was highlighted by a string of 15.1 consecutive scoreless innings spanning 3 starts. In his first 4 starts, he holds a 3-1 record with a 3.43 ERA, and he has walked just 5 batters in 21.0 innings while striking out 10 and holding batters to a .224 average.

Jantzen Witte, IF: Witte is at or near the top of the Drive's offensive leaderboard in multiple categories, as he is currently hitting .338 (3rd) with 20 runs scored (1st), 24 hits (2nd), 7 doubles (2nd), 2 homers (T-3rd), 14 RBI (2nd) and 11 walks (3rd). He has also posted a .425 on-base percentage (4th) and a .521 slugging percentage (2nd).
