Modesto, CA. - The Nuts took the four-game series from the Blaze with a 5-3 win on Monday night at John Thurman Field.

Dave Bergin clubbed two home runs and drove in four runs to power the Nuts (8-17, 31-64) to back-to-back wins for the first time since May 23rd and 24th. Bergin, against Blaze (12-13, 57-38) starter Ismael Guillon (L, 0-3), clubbed a solo home run in the first and a three-run blast in the third.
