Upcoming Homestand Preview

NORWICH, CT- The Connecticut Tigers close out the month of July with five home games over two homestands at Dodd Stadium. The Tigers take on their Stedler Division rivals the Tri-City ValleyCats (Astros affiliate) July 22-23 and the Staten Island Yankees (Yankees affiliate) July 27-29.

Tuesday, July 22nd the Tigers and ValleyCats square off at 7:05 pm. Tuesdays are Dollar Dogs Night presented by Kayem. All hot dogs are just $1 all night! Tuesdays are also Tuesday Night Senior Night presented by PierceCare. All senior citizens tickets are half price at the Dodd Stadium box office and come with a voucher redeemable for a free non-alcoholic beverage.

Wednesday, July 23rd is the annual Camp Day! Gametime is 11:05 am as the Tigers and ValleyCats wrap up a short two game series. It is Wednesday Family Four Pack day, as fans can get four reserved tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and a bag of popcorn all for just $40! Wednesdays are also Price Chopper Wednesdays. Fan who show their Price Chopper card at the box office receive a buy one, get one free offer on tickets. Discount offers cannot be combined.

After a short roadtrip the Tigers return home on Sunday, Just 27th to face the Staten Island Yankees at 4:05 pm. Gates open at 3 pm as the first 750 fans through the gates will receive Set 2 of the Dodd Stadium Legends Baseball Card Series featuring David Cone, Shane Spencer, Tyler Collins, and Pablo Sandoval. Following the game all kids will be allowed on the field for Kids Run The Bases presented by Ben & Jerry's and Have A Catch presented by Falvey's and ROXY FM 100.9.

On Monday, July 28th the Tigers and Yankees face off at 7:05 pm. Mondays are Kids Eat Free Night presented by US Foods and The Day. All child tickets (12 and under) receive a voucher redeemable for a free hot dog, bag of chips, bottle of water, and an apple! It's also Social Media Monday presented by XtraMart. A special discount offer will be posted on gameday to the Tigers Facebook and Twitter pages.

The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game schedule that runs from mid June through early September. 2014 season tickets, mini plans, individual game tickets, and team merchandise are now on sale!
