G-Braves, RailRiders Suspended by Rain

Game will be resumed on Thursday, July 24 at 11 AM

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - Heavy rains and wet field conditions forced the suspension of tonight's game between the Gwinnett Braves and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in the top of the third inning. The game will be resumed on Thursday, July 24 at 11:00 AM with the RailRiders batting with two outs in the third and leading 8-0.

Following the completion of the nine-inning game and a half-hour break, both clubs will play a seven-inning game to complete the four-game series.

Right-hander Carlos Fisher (1-0, 0.56) will be on the mound for Gwinnett when the game resumes, while Scranton/Wilkes-Barre will have left-hander Nik Turley (0-2, 6.14) throwing out of the bullpen. Right-hander Terry Doyle (1-1, 3.44) will start game two for the G-Braves. The RailRiders have not yet named a game two starter. Tony Schiavone will have the play-by-play call beginning at 10:50 AM on WDUN.com, GwinnettBraves.com, Tune-In Radio and the MiLB First Pitch app.
