El Paso took an early 4-0 lead Monday but Fresno came back to beat the Chihuahuas 9-4. The Grizzlies hit three home runs in the come-from-behind win. The two teams split the four-game series.

Keyvius Sampson moved in from the bullpen for a spot start Monday, replacing Jason Lane, who pitched for the San Diego Padres earlier in the day. Sampson allowed one run in four innings and left with a 4-1 lead. Mark Minicozzi hit a two-run home run in the fifth to get Fresno within one. One inning later, Juan Perez hit a two-out, two-strike three-run home run to put Fresno ahead. The Grizzlies added three more tallies in the top of the eighth.

Rymer Liriano went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. He is hitting .478 through his first six Triple-A games. Tyler Greene and Taylor Lindsey had two hits each in the loss. Monday was the final time the Chihuahuas will play Fresno this season. The Grizzlies won 11 of the 16 games.
