Dust Devils Top Everett in Extras
The Tri-City Dust Devils escaped with a 6-5 win over the Everett AquaSox on Monday night in a wild extra innings affair. The Dust Devils are now a Northwest League best 3-0 in extra inning games. Shane Hoelscher had his fourth straight multi-hit game and scored the winning run after starting the eleventh inning with a double. Jerad McCrummen closed out the game for the Dust Devils, collecting his first save of the season.
Tri-City will send Helmis Rodriguez to the mound in the series finale on Tuesday night. The Dust Devils return home on Wednesday, July 30th to begin a five-game series with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. It will be a Worthwhile Wednesday presented by Precision Movers at Gesa Stadium, where a local non-profit will be highlighted and have a table on the concourse.
