Tonight's Game Has Been Postponed

Staten Island, NY- Tonight's game between the Connecticut Tigers and Staten Island Yankees has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up tomorrow as a double header. There will be two seven inning games with game one starting at 6:00 p.m. There will be a half hour intermission after the final out of game one. 

In game one, Tigers RHP Fernando Perez (4-3, 3.91) is slated to face Yankees RHP Dillon McNamara (1-2, 3.96). In game two it is TBA for Connecticut. The Yankees will send out RHP Matt Borens (1-1, 4.73). The pre-game show begins at 5:45 p.m. on AM 1310 WICH and cttigers.com.

The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the New York-Penn League. The Tigers are in their 5th season at Dodd Stadium. Tickets are now on sale!
