SYRACUSE CHIEFS ANNOUNCE 2015 REGULAR-SEASON SCHEDULE

144-game slate includes expanded North Division schedule
September 16, 2014

The Syracuse Chiefs, the 2014 International League North Division champions, are pleased to announce game dates for the 2015 regular season. The Chiefs' 2015 season will begin on Thursday, April 9th at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, the start of a seven-game road trip. Syracuse's home opener is slated for Thursday, April 16th, also against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

As part of a new unbalanced International League scheduling procedure, the Chiefs will play their five I.L. North Division opponents - Buffalo, Lehigh Valley, Pawtucket, Rochester and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre - a combined 91 times, 11 more than the traditional 80-game divisional slate. The Chiefs will play 28 games against South Division opponents (Charlotte, Durham, Gwinnett, Norfolk) and 25 against West Division opponents (Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, Toledo) - each number down from the traditional 32.

"We're already looking forward to 2015 after a historic 2014", said Chiefs general manager Jason Smorol. "Get out your calendars and circle your dates to catch the 2015 Syracuse Chiefs!"

Game times and promotions for 2015 home games, as well as information on 2015 season and individual-game tickets, will be announced at a later date. To view next year's schedule, click here. For more information, contact the Chiefs at 315-474-7833 or go online to syracusechiefs.com.
