Drillers Looking for National Anthem Performers

Now accepting video applications through February 16th
January 23, 2015

Many top singers have often said one of their most memorable thrills has been performing the National Anthem prior to a sporting event. The Tulsa Drillers and Tulsa Roughnecks FC are hoping to give select, local singers the opportunity to experience that feeling this summer.

The Drillers and Roughnecks are now asking for video applications from individuals and groups that are interested in performing the Star Spangled Banner prior to a baseball game or soccer match this summer.

To be considered, send a video of yourself or your group singing/performing the entire National Anthem to [email protected] or a DVD to Tulsa Drillers Attn: National Anthem 201 N. Elgin Ave. Tulsa, OK 74120. Please include your name, daytime phone number and e-mail address with all submissions. If you have already performed the National Anthem at ONEOK Field you do not need to re-submit an application. You will be considered along with all the new applicants.

All entries must be received by Monday, February 16th, 2015 to be eligible.

The Drillers will review the entries and contact a select number of participants to come to ONEOK Field on Saturday, February 21st for an INVITATION ONLY final audition.

"This will be the third year we have used the video application process. The first two years, we've had an enormous amount of entries," said Justin Gorski, the Drillers & Roughnecks Director of Promotions and Entertainment. "We hope to receive even more talented submissions this season! We want to have the best showcased in front of our Drillers and new Roughnecks fans in 2015!"
